The Primary Quality Mark award was first developed in 1997, to promote, support and celebrate the teaching of literacy and mathematics in schools. The Primary Quality Mark provides a framework for self-evaluation and continuous improvement of the basic skills of all pupils in a school.
Rhydypenau was among the first schools in Cardiff to receive the award in 2000. The 3 ticks within the logo signify that we received the award on 3 successive cycles.
